Courtney was born and raised in Colorado, right down to her cowboy boots. Her Colorado roots run deep and loves living in her small-town Colorado. She received her Criminal Justice degree from Adams State University in 2013 and proceeded to become a National Credentialed Advocate. Courtney started her career as a dispatcher for the county of Rio Grande in southwestern Colorado and proceeded to work as a dispatcher for 4 years, before getting the opportunity to work hand in hand with the victims she was just speaking on the phone with. In 2019 she pioneered the Victims Service Program at Rio Grande County and fell in love with the idea of giving victims back their power in their lives. When not working she enjoys reading a good book, playing with her daughter, going to the gym or just relaxing with her husband.
