Lauren joined us in November 2021 as a bilingual staff attorney focused on the LINC (Legal Information Network of Colorado) program. She comes with a J.D. from the University of Denver and a varied legal background and is passionate about partnering with other community resources and survivors of crime to help them move forward to a better future. After graduating law school, she worked for two years as a Colorado Civil Justice Corps fellow with Alpine Legal Services in Glenwood Springs, CO, where she assisted victims of crime in English and Spanish with a variety of civil legal issues, including family law, protection orders, probate, housing, and public benefits. During law school, she worked on dependency and neglect matters, affirmative immigration applications for victims of crime, employment discrimination, and attorney ethics. Prior to that, she worked in disability rights and as a DV court advocate. In her free time, Lauren enjoys getting outdoors with her dog, reading, quilting, and volunteering in the community.
